Note: All devices are cleaned and personal data is wiped out safely and securely prior to being refurbished. Modern phones/tablets and Apple computers are encrypted by default, which means that when we reset them all data is wiped.

Windows computers aren’t encrypted by default, so once we’ve reinstalled the operating system and some basic tools, we run cipher on the free space to finish the clean-up. Cipher is a tool in Windows that securely wipes hard drives.

If you are donating an Apple device please, please remove it from your iCloud account beforehand. We can do nothing with a device unless it is removed from your iCloud account.
